Reward Your Best Chapter Member with a Scholarship
Outstanding MCAA student chapter members deserve more than just recognition; they deserve a scholarship. The Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation (MCERF) is making available scholarships to reward those impressive students.
MCAA student chapter faculty members are invited and encouraged to nominate one or more student chapter members with an excellent academic record, strong leadership skills, intern experience and a commitment to a career with our industry for one or more of the following scholarships.
The Foster McCarl, Jr. Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of an industry icon who helped establish MCERF. The scholarship is for $2,500.
The Alan P. O’Shea Memorial Scholarship commemorates the former executive director of the MCA of New Jersey. The scholarship is also $2,500.
The William A. Bianco, Jr. Memorial Scholarship honors another industry legend who founded Kinetics, one of MCAA’s largest members, and was a former MCERF president. The scholarship is for $5,000.
The Reilly Family Memorial Scholarship was created to honor the memory of Wayne, Patrick and Emmett Reilly, all of whom were active members of MCAA. The scholarship is for $5,000.
All nominations for these scholarships are to be prepared by chapter faculty advisors and submitted to Ann Mattheis at MCAA by February 6, 2017. Information about all the scholarships is available on the MCERF website.
